It costs RM500,000 per month to clean and maintain the log booms and gross pollutant traps along the Klang River Basin - that's RM6 million a year. Malaysia has also been rated as one of the worst when it comes to plastic pollution. We delve deeper into the plague of plastic we face and what we can do to turn things around, with Julian Hyde, the General Manager of Reef Check Malaysia.
