Hazy Skies Ahead for Malaysia?

In early July, news broke that Indonesia had declared a state of emergency in Central Kalimantan, after identifying more than 700 hotspots, which are likely the result of slash and burn land clearing practices. This reignited fears of the return of transboundary air pollution caused by these out-of-control fires, as we have seen in years past. Are we in for another hazy season? What can we as individuals do to tackle this seemingly never ending crisis?
