PJ Going Back to Parking Coupons

Bukit Gasing State Assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran is back for his monthly show on all things local government. Now that the Petaling Jaya City Council announced that it will revert to using scratch-and-display coupons to collect parking fares, we ask Rajiv what was the rationale behind this switch, why the council found it a challenge to maintain parking metres around the city, and why one of the most economically-advanced city in the country is still yet to provide an app or mobile payment option for motorists.
