Saul Takahashi is the former Deputy Head of Office at the Office of the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights, which is based in Ramallah, in the heart of the West Bank. Saul talks about what daily life is like in the occupied Palestinian territories, how the presence of Jewish settlements is a constant reminder of Israel’s violation of international law and respond to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement that schools and mosques in Palestine call for the destruction of the Jewish state.
