Feminist Fridays #78: Five Tigers

FreedomFilmFest - Malaysia's leading international human rights documentary film festival returns, and this 16th edition of the Fest is a call to action to “Mend The Gap”. One of the featured films is Five Tigers, which documents the journey of three women who were actively involved in the activities of the Labour Party of Malaya in Penang, back in the tumultuous 1960s. We find out more about the "tigers" and their journey from the film's co-director, Dr. Por Heong Hong and the film's producer, Chan Seong Foong. The film is also co-directed by Victor Chin.
