SheDecides launched at the start of 2017 as a global movement to support the fundamental rights of girls and women to decide freely and for themselves about their sexual and reproductive lives. It was also an immediate response to US President Donald Trump’s reinstatement of the Global Gag Rule. We find out more about this movement from Sivananthi Thanenthiran, the Executive Director of the Asian-Pacific Resource & Research Centre for Women (ARROW), who also joins us to discuss Our Stories Ourselves, which is a new publication of stories from 10 women from Asia, Middle-East, North Africa and Latin America, detailing how their sexual and reproductive health rights are often trampled upon.
