Women and children are said to be the cornerstone of public health - yet in many countries, they are the first to be left behind to deal with issues such as unwanted or unsafe pregnancies, STDS and their ilk and other infections. Clearly, something needs to be done, and it is there that the Every Woman, Every Child movement fits in.

Dr. Stefan Germann, director of partnerships and research from the Global Health & WASH Team, World Vision International, tells us more.
