About 40 per cent of breast cancer patients in Malaysia are diagnosed at the advanced stages. At this late stage, is it inevitable that the breast has to be removed? With Breast Cancer Awareness Month coming up in October, we explore surgical options for breast cancer treatment, together with Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon Dr Tan Gie Hooi from ParkCity Medical Centre.
