World Cancer Day

Dr Saunthari Somasundaram, National Cancer Society Malaysia

03-Feb-17 16:00

World Cancer Day

February is National Cancer Prevention Month, and the 4th is World Cancer Day.
The disease will kill more than eight million people worldwide, with half of them being in the working age still (30 to 69 years old). Malaysia alone may see 57,000 new cases annually by 2025. President of National Cancer Society Malaysia Dr Saunthari Somasundaram shares why we need to stop thinking about cancer as an isolated disease.
