Public Health: Chronic Kidney Disease - The Monster Under Our Beds

Almost 50,000 people in Malaysia live with end-stage renal disease. The Ministry of Health has warned that by the year 2040, there could be more than 100,000 Malaysians on dialysis if nothing is done to stop the rising cases of kidney failure in the country. In conjunction with World Kidney Day, we revisit the burden of chronic kidney disease in Malaysia.
