Health News Digest: Not Dwarfed by Dwarfism

You have seen them, perhaps even stared, but have you ever cared? People with dwarfism are a minority, being one out of every 30,000 births, but their stories reflect how our societies accept and--sadly--in most cases, reject differences. From jewellers in ancient Egypt to circus exhibits to celebrities (Peter Dinklage!) and sportsmen, people with dwarfism have often accomplished much more than their stature would suggest. In this episode, we explore the history, biology and opportunities of dwarfism.
