Doctor In The House: Enforced Sterilisations

A High Court judge in the UK has recently sanctioned the sterilisation of a man with learning disabilities on the basis of it being "in his best interests". This has raised interesting issues on whether the benefits of this ruling outweight its methods, especially since the outcome of this ruling largely affects the lives of the families as well as the future children involved.

Dr. George Lee joins us to discuss the ethical debate regarding enforced sterilisations along with experts who have experience in dealing with people with disabilities.
