Childhood Drowning

Every now and then we read about children drowning - the most recent one being the seven boys who drowned at Bukit Beruntung on March 17. Senior Consultant Paediatrician Dr Amar Singh was part of the first comprehensive national study in Malaysia on paediatric drowning, and highlights the magnitude of the problem. Water safety expert Chan Yuen-Li also weighs in on how to be safe in the waters and what we can do in the event of such accidents.
