But with advances such as minimally invasive techniques and new technologies, joint replacement surgeries have come a long way. Dato' Dr Badrul Shah Badaruddin, consultant orthopaedic and sports surgeon, and Assoc Prof Dr Ruslan Nazaruddin Simanjuntak, consultant orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon from ALTY Orthopaedic Hospital share how these advances have improved outcomes for patients.
