Nalini Elumalai, Fearless Human Rights Defender

Nalini Elumalai is an activist who has been fighting tirelessly for about 15 years. If you’ve not heard of Nalini, she’s a relentless and fearless human rights defender, someone who’s there at almost every single progressive rally and protest. Whenever activists/journalists get hauled in by the authorities, Nalini is always there until every single one of them is released.

Today, Nalini joins us to discuss her journey in activism -- including her experience organising the ISA rallies -- and her hopes for the future.
